Here is your weekly dose of “My Friday Top 5,” a list of what I’m enjoying, reading or pondering.
What I’m listening to —
The Property Couch. The Property Couch is a podcast hosted by two of Australia’s Property Experts, Bryce Holdaway and Ben Kingsley. Bryce Holdaway is the Co-Host of Relocation Relocation Australia and Location Location Location Australia on Foxtel’s Lifestyle Channel & Ben Kingsley is the Chair of Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA). Both Ben and Kingsley are qualified investment advisers and a real passion for property and helping everyday Australians make smart decisions.
What I’m watching —
TEDx Talks. This is one of my all-time favourite TED talks. Simon Sinek: How great leaders inspire action. Simon Sinek has a simple but powerful model for inspirational leadership — starting with a golden circle and the question “Why?” His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King, and the Wright brothers … He explores how leaders can inspire cooperation, trust and change. He’s the author of the classic “Start With Why”; his latest book is “Leaders Eat Last.”
What I’m reading —
“Leading” – Alex Ferguson. An inspirational guide to great leadership, from the most successful football manager of all time, LEADING investigates the pivotal leadership decisions of an astonishing career
Most popular post on Instagram —
Live with absolute PASSION and purpose.
Quote I’m pondering, once again —
“Take action. Every story you’ve ever connected with, every leader you’ve ever admired, every puny little thing that you’ve ever accomplished is the result of taking action. You have a choice. You can either be a passive victim of circumstance or you can be the active hero of your own life.” – Bradley Whitford
