20170413 – Weekly Portfolio Activity Summary
Weekly Portfolio Activity Summary
Weekly Portfolio Update 20170413 from Michael Cooper on Vimeo.
At the end of a short week in which the markets were digesting the visit of President Xi Jinping to the United States, equity markets around the world have sold off slightly. Focus in the market appears to have shifted to Gold, partly due to a search for seemingly safe haven assets, following the escalation in US military aggression and the current wave of geopolitical tensions. During the week the Australian ASX200 increased to within 50 points of the arbitrary 6,000 level, close to a two year high and even with today’s decline the index will end the week higher.
- A relatively quiet week in terms of trading activity with the main focus on individual requests and finalising transactions for accounts that required to raise cash for elected Quarterly Distributions and Pension Payments, which were transferred yesterday.
